Eugene Field Park and Park Advisory Council (PAC) – 5100 N. Ridgeway. Eugene Field serves its diverse Albany Park community with numerous athletic programs such as basketball, soccer, and floor hockey, as well as step aerobics and badminton. It’s also home to the Albany Park Theatre Project http://www.aptpchicago.org/. Ravenswood Manor Park--4626 N. Manor Ave. Located in the middle of the Ravenswood Manor community, the park is the crown jewel of the neighborhood. Lawndale Ave. Run in joint operation with the Chicago Board of Education, Jensen Park is located within Aspira Haugan Middle School, with the Park entrance at the corner of Leland and Lawndale Ave. The PAC advocates for expanded park programming & resources and produces fun and affordable local events. Horner Park--2741 W. Montrose Ave. Located at the southern border of Albany Park at Montrose & California Avenues, at nearly 55 acres, Horner Park is one of the largest parks on the North Side and boasts nine softball fields, three senior baseball diamonds with night baseball on two diamonds, two football/soccer fields, four outdoor basketball standards, five tennis courts, a playground, a relaxing nature area and 13 picnic groves. Francisco Ave. Located at the eastern border of Albany Park at the convergence of the Chicago River and canal, River Park offers a rich wildlife habitat, excellent fishing, a canoe launch and kayak rentals.
