A multiethnic, youth theater ensemble that inspires people to envision a more just and beautiful world through original theater productions which share the real-life stories of urban teens, immigrants, and working-class Americans. This company is based at Eugene Field Park, yet mounts performances both there and at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.

Chicago Children’s Choir

Albany Park–Since 2008, the Albany Park Neighborhood Choir has served boys and girls from the Albany Park, Irving Park, North Park, Portage Park, Jefferson Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Neighborhood Choir members audition as early as 3rd grade and many continue into high school. Since 2008, the Albany Park Neighborhood Choir has served boys and girls from the Albany Park, Irving Park, North Park, Portage Park, Jefferson Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Neighborhood Choir members audition as early as 3rd grade and many continue into high school.  The Albany Park Neighborhood Choir rehearses twice weekly at North Park University’s Anderson Chapel. Website

Halcyon Theatre was formed in 2006 to connect people, transform our borders and ascend toward a more just union. The Mayfair Band is a program of the Salvation Army’s music program.  Let The Music Begin is a program operated by the Salvation Army to promote the development and discipline of the mind and soul through musical instruction.  Let The Music Begin is for Chicago Public School or Salvation Army Corps and Community Center students ages 9 and older. Website

North Branch Projects is an independently run project space located in Albany Park, Chicago, IL, that serves as a community bookbinding facility. The space provides an outlet for exploring the creative process in a neighborhood where few resources for the arts exist.
